Where this went wrong

Short versionOrgan meat was the most prized food in Europe for a thousand years. It vanished in two generations — and what replaced it was designed to be sold, not to work.

How every generation before us ate this weekly — until we started trusting labels over food

Organ meat was the prized part of the animal in almost every culture that ever butchered one. Then in two generations it vanished from the kitchen entirely.

So what happened?

Nutrition stopped being food. It became a product line.

And a product line has a problem: solving something once is bad business. Keeping you subscribed to the attempt is much better business.

£4Iron tablet — a mineral salt your body barely absorbs
£50Greens powder — a blend that never has to tell you how much of anything is in it
£22Multivitamin — compounds synthesised in a lab, nowhere near food
£0Actual organ meat in any of them
And the one thing they all have in common? You cannot check any of it.Proprietary blend. Percentages, not milligrams. One certificate covering every batch since.

Here is what we think instead

Five organs. Freeze-dried at low temperature. Printed on the front of the jar in milligrams — because a number you can check beats an adjective you cannot.

The mechanism

Short versionYour body has two separate doors for iron. Tablets and plants use the one that barely works. Animal tissue uses the one that does.

There are two kinds of iron. You have only ever been sold the one that doesn't absorb.

This is the part nobody explained to you. It's also the entire reason you're here.

Your body has two completely separate absorption routes, and they do not overlap. One handles mineral salts. The other exists only for iron still locked inside animal tissue.

Two doors. Two locks. And almost nobody sells you the second key.

Door 1 — Non-heme iron

What you've already tried

Ferrous sulphate. Bisglycinate. Spinach, lentils, fortified cereal. Everything you have already tried, and stopped.

Blocked by things you consume every day:

  • coffee & tea
  • dairy
  • wholegrains & legumes
VS

Door 2 — Heme iron

What your body evolved eating

Iron still bound inside animal tissue, with its own dedicated pathway. The form your body evolved eating.

Blocked by none of them:

  • coffee & tea
  • dairy
  • wholegrains & legumes

So where is heme iron most concentrated? The spleen.

The spleen is the exact organ where the body breaks down worn-out red blood cells and reclaims the iron from them. Which is why spleen is our largest ingredient, and not liver.

Our belief

Organ meat is the most nutrient-dense food on earth — and nobody is cooking it on a Tuesday

So let's be honest with each other: organ meat tastes bad.

Not challenging. Not an acquired taste. Bad.

  • The smell gets into the whole kitchen
  • The texture divides a dinner table in seconds
  • It's twenty minutes you don't have on a Wednesday
  • And you have to do it two or three times a week for it to matter
So we didn't fix organ meat. We just made it something you swallow in three seconds and never taste.Three capsules with breakfast. No shaker, no powder, no smell.

What to expect

What should I expect from consistent use?

Iron stores rebuild over months, not days. We would rather tell you that now than have you quit in week three thinking it failed.

  • Week 1

Nothing dramatic. You build the habit — three capsules with breakfast. Some people notice their digestion is a little more active for a few days.

  • Month 1

The daily dose is in place. Iron and vitamin B12 both contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

  • Month 2

Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and to normal oxygen transport in the body.

  • Month 3

The window in which iron stores meaningfully rebuild for most people. Which is exactly why the starter kit runs three months.

  • Month 6

Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and nails; zinc to the maintenance of normal skin.

  • Month 12

It is simply part of your morning. Most subscribers have switched to the refill pouch.

How to use

Three capsules. That is the whole routine.

STEP 1
640×960
1

Open the jar

Amber glass with an aluminium lid. It keeps light off the fat-soluble vitamins — that is the actual reason, not a design flourish.

STEP 2
640×960
2

Scan the batch code

The QR on the base opens the lab report for your batch. Ten seconds, and it is the entire point of this brand.

STEP 3
640×960
3

Take three with a meal

Breakfast is easiest because you will actually remember. Sensitive stomach? Start with one and build up across a week.

Nutrient density

Here is why we hand-picked these five beef organs

Full disclosure

Short versionWe can only use health claims that have been officially approved, word for word. Most brands tiptoe around that. We'd rather just show you the list.

American organ brands promise hormone balance. Here that is illegal.

If you've read an American organ supplement site, you'll have seen big promises.

Supplements may only use officially authorised health claims, in exactly the prescribed wording. Rather than dance around it, here is precisely what we are permitted to say.

Stopped dreading the afternoon

Three months in. I'm not going to claim a miracle — but the 3pm wall I'd been walking into since my second child is no longer a fixed feature of my day.

Finally, a label I can read

Every organ, in milligrams, on the front. I compared it against two brands I'd been buying and neither would tell me the split.

No stomach problems at all

Ferrous sulphate put me off iron for six years. I braced myself for the same thing and it never came.

Julia W.
★★★★Verified purchase

No taste, but they are large

Zero taste or smell, exactly as promised. The capsules are on the bigger side though and I need plenty of water.

The QR code actually works

Scanned it fully expecting a dead link. It opened the report for my batch number.

Digestion was rough for me

I'm one of the people it doesn't suit. First week my stomach was genuinely unsettled. Refund was processed in two days without an argument, which I'll credit them for.

Iris V.
★★★★★Verified purchase

I eat almost no red meat

Which is exactly why I bought it. My iron intake looked fine on paper and I still felt terrible.

Noor A.
★★★Verified purchase

Good product, slow delivery

No complaints about what's in the jar. The first order took nine days to arrive, which isn't what the site said.

Third cycle on it

Heavy periods have meant low iron for most of my adult life. I'm still taking it, which is more than I managed with tablets.

Our story

FOUNDER 01
Vera portrait
1200×1600

Hi, I'm Vera. Founder of DailyWild.

For years I couldn't get iron to stick, which led to:

  • Tired in a way sleeping more never touched
  • A stomach that rejected every tablet I tried
  • Three false starts and three quiet quits
  • A drawer of half-finished bottles
Then at twenty-nine, a dietitian said one sentence that undid six years of assuming it was me.

She explained that the iron in every tablet I'd ever taken was a mineral salt — and that there is a second kind my body would have absorbed without complaining once. Nobody had ever mentioned it.

I tried everything from:

Prescription iron Gentle iron Liquid iron Spinach smoothies Greens powders Multivitamins B12 sprays

Fourteen months finding someone who could freeze-dry organ meat properly. Two failed batches. One grass-fed farm.

What's printed on the jar is exactly what's inside — that didn't take a marketing department, just a set of scales and a laboratory.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Spleen? Seriously?

Seriously. The spleen is where the body breaks down old red blood cells and reclaims the iron from them, which makes it the richest natural source of heme iron there is. Liver is better known — but liver is the B12 and vitamin A organ.

Will it upset my stomach the way tablets did?

Heme iron uses a different absorption pathway than iron salts, so less unabsorbed iron is left sitting in the gut. Most people tolerate it well. Start with one capsule and build to three across a week if you'd rather.

Can I taste or smell it?

No. It's a capsule you swallow whole, and freeze-dried organ is odourless while the shell stays closed.

Why three capsules and not two?

Because at three we have enough of six different nutrients in the daily dose to be legally permitted to declare them.

Is it third-party lab tested?

Every batch, before it ships — heavy metals, microbiology, and verification against the declared nutrient amounts.

Can I take this during pregnancy?

Speak to your GP or midwife first. This contains vitamin A from beef liver, and separate guidance applies during pregnancy.

Any allergens?

No gluten, dairy, soy or nuts. The capsule shell is bovine gelatin, so it isn't suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

How do I cancel?

In your account, in one click, at any time. No retention call, no email you have to send.

What if I don't get on with it?

Tell us within 180 days and we'll refund your most recent order in full — you keep the jar and you don't need to return anything.
